Blue- and blackberry ripe fruit, integrated clove spice, sweet palate fruit and quite firm, fine tannins. Attractive richness and fair length. (TJ)

The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Longecourts comprises three barrels this year. It has a very attractive and quite floral bouquet with violets permeating the blue and red fruit; the 20% new oak is nicely integrated. The medium-bodied palate delivers vivid red berry fruit mixed with black pepper and thyme and a precise, persistent finish. Excellent.
