Tasting notes
Disgorged in November 2019 with 4.5 grams per liter dosage, the NV Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Heurtebise derives from a parcel defined by iron-rich sand. Offering up aromas of pear, orange oil, beeswax, fresh pastry and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and incisive, with tangy acids, fine concentration and a long, penetrating finish. This release is entirely from the 2016 vintage.

Made from 100% Chardonnay planted in the Heurtebise parcel between 1981 and 1985, and harvested in 2008, the NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Heurtebise offers a very clear, yet subtle and elegant, fresh and mineral bouquet of buttered yellow apples, vanilla croissant and chalk. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, this is a highly elegant and complex Champagne of great finesse, finishing with a persistent length. Very stimulating and the mousse is absolutely delicious.
