55% Riesling, 37% Pinot Gris, 8% Gewürztraminer. Intensely floral nose with a real edge of acidity and phenolics. Should settle down to providing a point of difference from the international varieties. (JR)

A blend of Riesling (55%), Pinot Gris (37%) and Gewürztraminer (8%) co-fermented in older puncheons and barriques, the 2018 Chiaroscuro features aromas of orange, lime and bergamot. It's medium-bodied and silky in texture, reasonably broad and mouthfilling, then it tightens up to deliver a crisp, green-apple finish.

55% Riesling, 37% Pinot Gris, 8% Gewurztraminer. Smells pretty sulphurous at first. There’s something very raw and reductive obscuring the fruit. (RH)
