Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2021-2033, Neal Martin, Jan 2019
The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is matured in a judicious 20% new oak. It has a honeyed bouquet of white peach, mango and light yellow flower aromas. The tensile palate is well-balanced on the entry, and the resinous, waxy-textured finish seems to coat the mouth. I would have liked a little more weight, but otherwise, this should drink well for 10 to 12 years.
