The most complete of all the Marc Colin wines. Has everything you want from white burgundy: creamy texture, lively citrus fruit and a weight and intensity cut through by the freshness. (JH)

The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Vide Bourse fermented until September, and it's one of the more dramatic wines in the range, displaying aromas of spiced peaches, citrus blossom, mandarin and honey. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, gourmand and unctuous but balanced by succulent, mouthwatering acids and a long, saline finish.
