Tasting notes
The 2015 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Chaumes has a charming bouquet with vibrant black cherries, bergamot and peony aromas, vivacious and sensual. The palate is beautifully balanced with crisp acidity, a mixture of black and red fruit with a little astringency on the finish that will disappear with time in bottle.

Bright dark red. Reduced, musky scents of black raspberry and blueberry. Concentrated dark fruit flavors are nicely framed by strong acidity. Not particularly showy at present--in fact, a bit hard-edged following Fourrier's domain wines from Gevrey-Chambertin--with the tannins more obvious today, even a touch dry.
