2016 Hunter Valley Semillon

The 2016 Semillon is a fresh, fruit-forward example of the genre. Green apple and lime juice notes dominate, while hints of crushed stone provide a pleasantly silky texture and extend through the long, mouthwatering finish. While some Sémillons age well, given this wine's fruit-forward nature, I'd opt for drinking it over the next few years.
