Tasting notes
The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Aux Echanges reveals notions of sweet cherries, raw cocoa and grilled game bird, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate that's supple and satiny, with an ample core of fruit and fine, chalky tannins. It's a successful offering from Jean-Marie Fourrier's négociant range.

The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Aux Echanges sports a tiny reduction on the nose but underneath lies some vivacious black and blue fruit tinged with scents of Indian ink. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, quite firm and focused, some chalky textured black fruit laced with graphite dominated the persistent finish. This is a very promising Chambolle from Jean-Marie Fourrier’s negoçiant arm.
