Score 85-87/100 · Drink 2014-2019, Robert Parker, Aug 2014
From the over-achieving property of Yves and Stephanie Vatelot, the 2013 Reignac exhibits a dark ruby/purple color as well as sweet black currant and floral notes and medium body. It is considerably better than expected for its pedigree and the vintage. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.

Blueberry jam, smoke, cassis, new leather and spices inform the 2013 Reignac. One of the juicier, fleshier wines of the year, the 2013 should drink well right out of the gate. There is a lot to like here, including the wine's soft, enveloping personality.
