2014 Etna Rosato

I really loved Giuseppe Russo's 2014 Etna Rosato. It is my top rosé pick from Etna this year. The 2014 vintage was particularly favorable to the indigenous grapes of Etna and you can taste the vigor, good health and quality of the fruit. The wine shows great balance with generous fullness and texture. The bouquet offers small berry aromas with cassis, almond paste and dried garden herbs. This is a pale pink rosé with a crisp and luminous appearance.
