Tasting notes
The 2017 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Roncières 1er Cru has an intriguing bouquet of black cherries and bergamot, a touch of Earl Grey developing with aeration. The palate is defined by its filigreed tannin and crisp line of acidity, gentle in style to the point that you almost miss the backbone on the finish. There is something very natural about this Les Roncières, and it should offer 15 to 20 years of drinking pleasure.

I have a weakness for the 2017 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Roncières, an inviting wine that bursts with aromas of blackberries, cassis, sweet soil tones and spices. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy with an ample core of succulent fruit, rich structuring tannins and a long, vibrant finish. This will offer a broad drinking window.
