Score 92/100 · Josh Raynolds, Jul 2013
Deep red. An extremely fragrant, floral-dominated nose displays scents of ripe cherry and blackberry, with suave floral and Asian spice nuances. Full-bodied and velvety, offering palate-coating dark berry and lavender pastille flavors enlivened by juicy acidity. Finishes very long and silky, with a persistent boysenberry note and smooth, even tannins. A very successful wine in the context of this difficult vintage.
