Tasting notes
Grilled plums, rosemary, black olives and some tar. Some dried flowers. Focused and complex with a full body and firm tannins that are well interwoven with the deep core of black fruit. Powerful yet wonderfully fresh, too. Lengthy finish. 45% cabernet sauvignon, 18% petit verdot, 14% malbec, 13% merlot, 5% cabernet franc, 5% carmenere. Drink or hold.

Showing a cooked, almost jammy style on the nose. Possibly a little oxidative? Certainly seems to be somewhat acock in terms of fruit balance. (RH)
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernets Larose exudes ripe red and black currants on the nose with a lovely floral undercurrent of violets and lavender plus earth and cedar hints. Medium-bodied and firmly structured with ripe, grainy tannins and lively acid, it gives a great intensity of red and black fruits flavors, leading to a very long, earthy finish.
