Score 92/100 · Drink 2019-2034, Jeb Dunnuck, Apr 2019
The 2016 Vosne-Romanée comes from 45-year-old vines and was completely destemmed and brought up in 30-40% new oak. It’s a beautiful, elegant effort that’s all about sweet red cherry and strawberry fruit backed up by beautiful spice and forest floor notes. Medium-bodied, silky and beautifully balanced, it’s already drinking nicely yet should keep for 15 years or so.

The 2016 Vosne-Romanée Village wafts from the glass with aromas of minty berries, smoke and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy palate, with ripe tannins, succulent acids and a touch of youthful structural grip on the finish.
