The 2016 Marsannay Rosé was a perfect salmon color (that comes direct from the press). There was a bit of reduction on the nose, but that soon blows off and offers lovely red cherry and strawberry scents. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, a touch of stem ginger and rhubarb on the back palate, nicely weighted in the mouth with good length. This is a very fine rosé from Pierre-Jean Roty.
