The 2017 Bourgogne Côte d’Or comes from vines in Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée, the same ones that produced what was hitherto labeled Bourgogne Croix Blanche. Cécile is passionate about using the new appellation introduced by the INAO this year. This has a lifted cranberry and strawberry bouquet, touches of briar developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, quite compact and a little rustic. Not persistent, but the kind of Pinot Noir you would quaff in no time at all in a local bistro .
