Score 90-92/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Apr 2019

The 2017 Chambertin Grand Cru unfurls in the glass with aromas of sweet cherries, cedar, grilled meats and forest floor. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and melting, with juicy acids, delicate structure and a pretty core of fruit. It can't match Fourrier's domaine wines, but it's a charming middleweight rendition of this great appellation.

The 2017 Chambertin Grand Cru has a charming, quite regal bouquet with layers of crushed strawberry, raspberry and crushed iris aromas that blossom with aeration. The palate is very refined, beautifully focused with a silver bead of acidity. There is a sorbet-like freshness from start to finish, a gentle crescendo of flavours towards the blackberry, raspberry and orange zest finish that lingers persistently in the mouth. Superb.
