Score 90-92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2018
(just two barrels made; this vineyard was brutalized by frost in 2016, yielding just one feuillette of wine, making it the family's smallest cuvée along with its '16 Montrachet): Bright pale yellow. Inviting ripe aromas of pear, wild herbs and flowers, plus a distinct rocky element. At once dense and bright, and a step up in gras from the Grande Montagne. Intense lemon and white peach flavors are energized on the back end by a hint of grapefruit zest and subtle florality. I like the combination of breadth and weightlessness here.
