Tasting notes
The 2017 Red Wine All Blocks, Tensley's Grenache-based blend is fabulous. Succulent cherry, red plum, spice and floral notes run through this supple, wonderfully pliant red. The 2017 finishes with wonderful energy and freshness. There is so much to like in this juicy, flat-out delicious wine.

Deep purple-black in color with scents of chocolate box, hoisin, old leather and graphite over cassis, black cherry preserves, shaved nutmeg and red and blue fruit sparks, the 2017 All Blocks is medium to full-bodied and spicy with a firm frame and juicy freshness to lift the long finish.
Not yet bottled, the 2017 All Blocks comes from all the vineyards Tensley works with (although it’s mostly Colson Canyon Grenache). This deep ruby/purple-colored effort offers up a terrific bouquet of smoked earth, cured meats, pepper, and both blue and black fruits. It’s voluptuous and sexy on the palate, with full-bodied richness, and is a great vintage for this cuvée.
