Tasting notes
Light crimson. As scented and creamy as the Nuits Les Lavières but still bright and lifted. Supple tannins. Such wonderful depth for a village wine. (JH)

The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village has a pleasant bouquet of raspberry and crushed strawberry tinged with fig, the 15% new oak lending a little more presence. The balanced, natural palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannin, displaying a fine thread of acidity from start to finish and offering flavors of juicy red cherry, raspberry and vervain tea. There is impressive length here.
The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village displays aromas of spicy berry fruit, plums and smoked meats, followed by a medium-bodied, open-knit palate with melting tannins and a juicy core of fruit. It's an easygoing middle-weight wine that will drink well on release.
