From the bottom of Altenbourg. Hail concentrated, yield only 12 hl/ha. RS 42 g/l. Very perfumed. Focused and very satin textured, really beautiful. Sweet but balanced. Bring on the chef! (JR)

Fruit from the lower part of Altenbourg, limestone/clay. RS 42 g/l. More lychee than roses, pear-fruited too. Rich and kept fresh by the pear-like fruit. Creamy texture and quite delicate in its Gewürz character. Wonderfully creamy integirty. (JH)
From the bottom of the Altenbourg, the 2017 Alsace Gewurztraminer Cuvée Laurence offers intense and generous yet bright fruit on the nose. Creamy, dense and concentrated, this is a very elegant and structured Gewurtz with a long finish. Tasted October 2018.
