Tasting notes
(the Casse-Têtes portion of this wine was barely touched by frost, according to Marion Javillier): Healthy straw-yellow. Deep, ripe aromas and flavors of yellow fruits and nuts complicated by a leesy element. Concentrated, rich and seamless, with its strong saline minerality giving it a tightly coiled quality. Finishes savory and firm, with rising length and no rough edges. This wine was bottled last November and is showing very well today.

(production was down 50% from normal): Bright, light yellow. Aromas of peach and riper soft citrus fruits. In a distinctly ripe, glyceral style but not heavy, with its sweetness nicely countered by moderate acidity. Rather densely packed wine with a fine-grained, persistent finish.
