A true blockbuster as well as the finest vintage to date, the 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Gallimardes Blanc is mostly Roussanne from an incredible site located in the southern part of the appellation. Apple blossom, tart pineapple, white flowers, and a honeyed minerality all emerge from this medium to full-bodied beauty that has bright acidity, impeccable balance, and first-rate purity of fruit. It’s already impossible to resist yet is going to evolve gracefully for over a decade if you’re so inclined.
