Tasting notes
The 2017 Mayne Lalande is bold, racy and super-expressive. Dark red cherry fruit, licorice, spice, herb and dried flowers give the 2017 terrific nuance and complexity. The 2017 has a lot to offer, that much is evident.

A fresh, fruity red with plum-pudding and chocolate character. Medium body with round, creamy tannins and a juicy finish. Delicious now.
The 2017 Mayne Lalande is a powerful inky wine with terrific palate presence and depth. The inky blue/purplish fruit is nicely pushed forward. This is a bold style that puts raciness ahead of subtlety, but it works nicely.
Sporting a vibrant purple color, the 2017 Château Maye Lalande is a seriously impressive Listrac. Strawberries, raspberries, fruit cake and exotic spice notes all show in this medium-bodied, fresh, nicely concentrated effort. With well-integrated acidity, good purity and a clean finish, drink it over the coming 8-10 years.
