Tasting notes
The 2017 Reynon Blanc, 100% Sauvignon Blanc, dazzles with its crystalline precision. A white of cut and energy, the 2017 is loaded with citrus, sage, tomato leaf and mint notes that show the brighter, grassier side of Sauvignon Blanc off to great effect. Tasted two times.

The Reynon 2017 Blanc opens with fresh grapefruit, lemon tart and honeysuckle scents plus touches of chalk dust and chopped herbs. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers a good amount of citrusy flavors with a lively line and chalky finish.
The 2017 Reynon Blanc offers lovely texture to balance some of the more typical varietal Sauvignon Blanc aromas and flavors. Apricot, chamomile and mint are nicely defined. A touch of reduction adds nuance without overpowering the wine.
Intense lemon and grapefruit aroma with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc herbal character. Very Sauvignon on the palate, herbal citrus, but with a slight grip adding texture and length. Oak is very subtle. Extremely moreish, good fruit depth and length.
