Tasting notes
Limpid ruby-red. Intensely perfumed aromas of Chambord, Asian spices, potpourri and vanilla; a hint of smoky minerality gains strength with aeration. Impressively concentrated yet lithe in character, offering alluringly sweet red berry preserves, spicecake and rose pastille flavors that show superb delineation and back-end cut. Smooth, even tannins build slowly and add a gentle grip to an impressively persistent, floral-dominated finish.

(made with whole berries and aged in French oak barrels, 25 percent of them new, for a year) Deep vivid red. Ripe red berries, incense and candied flowers on the expansive, seductively perfumed nose; a smoky mineral accent adds vivacity. Sappy, alluringly sweet and penetrating on the palate, offering juicy cherry, raspberry and vanilla flavors along with a zesty Asian spice nuance. Fine-grained and seamless in texture, finishing with impressive power, resonating spiciness and smooth tannins.
Pale ruby purple, the 2015 Pinot Noir Reserve offers red currants and underbrush on the nose with suggestions of lavender and dried herbs, plus a touch of soil. Soft with nice backbone, there's good depth and length on the palate.
