2016 Gevrey Chambertin Lavaux St Jacques

(the yield was normal here): Dark, saturated red. Wild dark fruits complemented by a subtle floral quality on the vibrant nose and palate. Juicy, savory, intense wine, at once concentrated and pliant. The refreshing finish shows fine-grained tannins and rising violet-tinged length. As relaxed as this wine is, it's not a bit lacking in structure.
