Tasting notes
Fairchild's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones No. 1 emerges from Las Piedras, one Napa Valley's top vineyards. The inherent power and structure of this site play off beautifully in this stunning, vibrant wine. Graphite, smoke, black cherry, plum and incense give the 2014 its exotic, powerful personality. This is a fabulous Cabernet Sauvignon from Larry Fairchild.

The extraordinary 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones No. 1 comes from another Beckstoffer Vineyard, Las Piedras in St. Helena. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from what is called clone 4. Loads of graphite, crushed rock, tobacco leaf, scorched earth, blackberry and blueberry fruit soar from the glass of this fat, opulent, decadently intense wine, which has low acidity, tremendous purity, and hedonistic appeal. Drink it over the next 20 years.
