Score 94/100 · Drink 2025-2033, Erin Larkin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2025

The 1993 Cabernet Sauvignon hails from a cool and dry year, and the pronounced notes of graphite and pencil shavings are most elegant. The wine is moving toward ethereal and shows finesse and restraint at every juncture. Faint notions of maple syrup/cedar feather the edges. While the tannins remain profuse, they are starting to become very fine with age, showing the ability of Moss Wood Cabernet to evolve positively over time. There is an austerity here, which is highly attractive.
