Score 87/100 · Drink 2015-2017, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2015
The 2012 Rosso di Montalcino is a forward, racy wine to drink now and over the next year or two. Sweet red cherries, flowers, mint and spiced notes meld into the distinctly ripe, open-knit finish.

Deep violet crimson. Lifted cherry on the nose. Lovely elegant mouthfeel. Quite muscular structure. Intense fruit finish, but works with the firm tannins. Needs much more time. (WS)
