Score 91/100 · Drink 2019-2025, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Feb 2019
A blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Viognier and Grenache, the 2016 Pilgrim isn't as expressive as the 2015, but it's still a solid effort. Understated notes of blueberries and mulberries pick up subtle hints of baking spices on the medium to full-bodied palate, finishing with a wash of soft tannins. There's no real need to age this, but it should hold in the cellar for 5-6 more years.
