(from Les Veroilles, just above Bonnes-Mares; 50% vendange entier ): Dark berry and licorice aromas are lifted by a floral high note. Densely flavored and juicy, showing excellent inner-mouth lift to the flavors of dark berries, licorice and wild herbs. A serious, brisk village wine with good length.

The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a very tight and slightly conservative bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with a licorice-tinged entry, good weight with a sweet core of candied red fruit. It just lacks a little Chambolle typicity at the moment.
