Tasting notes
There are two barrels of the 2013 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru this year. It has a very detailed, slightly flinty, perhaps reserved bouquet that opens reluctantly in the glass. The palate is taut on the entry, hints of white chocolate infusing the citrus fruit, nicely balanced with a harmonious and elegant finish. While not as striking as the 2012 last year, this is a fine Chevalier-Montrachet to drink over the next 15 years.
