(35% new oak, as for all of the premier crus here; production here was just 30 hectoliters per hectare): Medium red. Cherry, redcurrant, leather and a whiff of smoky oak on the nose. Quite suave and elegantly styled, with attractive flavors of sweet cherry and redcurrant complicated by a floral element and framed by harmonious acidity. Finishes with smooth tannins and subtle rising, floral length. An excellent, seamless red Chassagne wine in a feminine style.
