Tasting notes
The 2006 Vin San Giusto is a real stunner. One of the very few Tuscan sweet wines that brings together what is a very classic array of flavors with a more modern sense of concentration and structure, the 2006 hits all the right notes. Dried apricot s, menthol, leather, smoke and wild flowers all add nuance on the striking finish. In 2006, the fruit was air-dried for three and half months and vinified only in January 2007. Long aging in barrel resulted in a plush, textured wine with 350-400 grams of residual sugar. Available in 375 ml bottles.
