The 2015 Bolgheri Il Bruciato shows just how compelling this vintage is, even among entry-level offerings. Sumptuous and racy to the core, the 2015 will be virtually impossible to resist, even in its youth. Dark cherry, spice, new leather, mocha and espresso ring out in this deeply flavorful and expressive wine.

The 2015 Bolgheri Rosso Il Bruciato is already on the market and continues to enjoy great success thanks to its compelling quality to price ratio. The 2015 vintage delivers incredibly balanced results thanks to weather patterns that were never too hot or too cold. The wine opens to dark fruit aromas with black cherry, spice and mocha. The tannins are sweet, but the wine finishes with elegant dryness. This is exactly the kind of wine you should buy by the case, so that you always have a bottle handy for spontaneous dinner parties.

Aromas of black currants, black berry and wet earth follow through to a full body, dark and juicy fruit and a long and flavorful finish. Layered and rich with a lovely ripe tannin mouthfeel. Shows the opulence of the outstanding 2015 vintage. Feb 2017, www.jamessuckling.com
