Tasting notes
Deep ruby/plum-colored, the 2016 Château Veyry gives up a terrific bouquet of blackcurrants, spiced mulberries, graphite, and some camphor/subtle oak. With medium to full body, beautiful depth of fruit, and a balanced, layered style, it's a hidden gem to see out.

The 2016 Veyry has a very ripe bouquet of ripe red cherries, kirsch, espresso and dark chocolate aromas that manages to retain freshness and delineation. The focused, fresh palate is medium-bodied with lightly spiced black fruit tinged with cassis and a detailed finish. Excellent.
An impressive Castillon with stunning forest-berry character and just a whiff of toast and vanilla. Lovely balance of concentrated fruit and velvety tannins and a long, fresh and mineral finish. Drink or hold.
The 2016 Veyry is plump, juicy and delicious, with copious black cherry, chocolate, leather and spice character. Soft curves and silky tannins add to the wine's open-knit, succulent feel. This is an especially opulent Côtes de Bordeaux and is absolutely delicious. Tasted two times.
