Tasting notes
The 2016 Girolate Blanc is very nicely done. Soft, creamy and inviting, with no hard edges, the 2016 has a lot to offer. Pear, smoke, lemon confit and apple give this tasty Sauvignon/Sémillon blend tons of sheer appeal.

The Girolate 2016 Blanc reveals uplifting lemongrass, Mandarin peel and orange oil scents with wafts of white peaches and honeysuckle. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers a fantastic intensity of citrus and stone fruit flavors, finishing long and mineral laced.
The 2016 Girolate Blanc offers good depth and persistence throughout. The interplay of Sauvignon and Sémillon works beautifully here. Green pear, slate, smoke, citrus and white pepper give the wine good aromatic lift and precision, but there is also plenty of palate presence. Tasted two times.
Rich Sauvignon. Maybe not the most refreshing but very sumptuous and ambitious. Apr 2017, www.jancisrobinson.com, Drink: 2018-2021
