Tasting notes
(25% vendange entier ; aged in 25% new oak): Bright medium red. Sexy, mellow, smoke- and soil-inflected aromas of raspberry, warm spices and musky minerality, plus a suggestion of chocolatey oak and a touch of reduction. Pliant and smooth on entry, then a bit pinched toward the back, with the red berry, mineral and earth flavors currently a little youthfully imploded. Spice and floral notes add nuance but this wine needs another year or two to expand and gain in pliancy. A lovely soil-driven blend of three estate vineyards.

A blend of estate grapes from Bannockburn, Earnscleugh and Gibbston, this beautifully composed pinot shows fragrant aromas of dark cherry, violet, smoked meat, cedar and earthy mushroom on the nose. The palate is rich yet graceful, intense yet refined, and offers seamless flow through the palate. The wine is beautifully layered and elegantly structured, ensuring its gradual development.
