Pale to mid garnet. Mild nose. Sweet start – just a little too ripe for my palate. Reminds me of an Oregon Pinot with its sweetness and grainy texture. (JR)

The 2015 Givry 1er Cru Clos Salomon offers up a lovely bouquet of red cherry, berries, sweet soil and dried flowers. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and elegant, nicely complete in profile with good depth and concentration in an understated style. Nothing is out of place, and this should age very well.
