The 2015 Clos St. Denis is quite pretty. Sweet floral notes hover over a core of delicate, understarted fruit. This is another wine that comes across as a bit closed and in need of racking. Rose petal, lavender and spice nuances add the closing shades of complexity. Charles van Canneyt told me he planned to bottle the Clos St. Denis, along with some of his other wines, on the earlier side in order to preserve as much fruit and overall freshness as possible.
