TA 7 g/l (sulphuric), pH 3.5, RS 188 g/l. Seductive colour of deep orangey gold. Intense aroma of orange and apricot. Botrytis influence very clear here in the marmalade and reduced-apricot flavours. A slight grip in the texture and pretty good acidity balances the deep sweetness. Rich and long, finishing with barley-sugar zesty intensity. (JH)

Deep orange colour. Coffee and marmalade on the nose, thick orange-peel infused honey. Catherine-wheel bright, vivid, like an electric shock of gorgeousness. Marmalade coming through to the palate, with all the sweet sharp bitterness and tang of the very best Seville oranges. Wonderful vibrancy and energy despite extraordinary sweetness. Just glorious! Long, lingering, can can dancing across the tongue and back again, taking curtain call after curtain call. I didn't spit this. I may have been mean with my score. (TC)

(for 375 ml.; 10.8% alcohol, 188 g/l r.s. and 10.7 acidity) Deep golden-bronze. Heavily botrytized, high-toned aromas of orange marmalade, tangy apricot, honey and toasted bread, lifted by a mineral element. Piercing, riesling-like acidity gives brilliant clarity to the fresh orange and apricot flavors. Dense and thick but utterly racy. This is still an infant. The salty, painful finishing flavors saturate the palate and build for minutes.
