Tasting notes
Bright lemon in colour. Intense and rich on the nose, oily peaches, tarte Tatin and tropical edges burst through, but there is a smoky minerality here too. The palate starts waxy and rich – there is a creamy and generous mouthfeel. Bone dry. This is ripe and powerful, full of passion fruit and peach. Then there is a huge cut of steely acidity. This brings zest and vibrancy to tackle the heady power of fruit. This is still very youthful and impressive; it should be fantastic with more age. (TP)

Lime and linden leaf aroma and deeply limey on the palate. Masses of fruit sweetness. A little bit brash at the moment but flavourful and needs time to grow in finesse. (JH)
Round and mouth-filling – very forward with masses of ripe fruit. Strong line of acidity and fruit through the whole. Successful. (JR)
Intense yellow in color, the cloudy sample of the 2015 Ruppertsberger Reiterpfad In der Hohl Riesling Trocken GG offers a clear and smoky bouquet of crushed rocks, ripe pips, mocha beans, lemon oil, and the purity and freshness of a great wine. Full-bodied, rich and intense, with a piquant acidity and grip, this is a round and juicy Riesling. It is also well structured with power, finesse and vitality. This wine has an intense and persistent taste. Very intense and powerful, but all is kept in balance because of the firm mineral structure and raciness. This is one of the greatest Reiterpfad Rieslings I have had so far.
