Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2016-2025, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015
The 2014 Pommard Village underwent the latest malolactic fermentation, so was very reductive on the nose (as you would expect). The palate is fleshy and more expressive. The acidity is citric and fresh, lending a sorbet-like quality to this Pommard that I think will be delicious straight from the off (unusual for a Pommard). This will be well worth seeking out.
