Tasting notes
70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Simple nose. Savoury cassis fruit on the palate, firm tannins and an aftertouch of refreshing, integrated acidity. Good, standard bordeaux. Perhaps a little understated for the reputation of the vintage, which might not be so disadvantageous. (RH)

The 2015 Thieuley is soft, plummy and absolutely delicious. Sweet red cherry, plum, spice abound in a forward, juicy Bordeaux to drink upon release. Best of all the Thieuley should be a fabulous value.
The 2015 Thieuley (Rouge) has a fragrant red berry and cranberry-scented bouquet that probably needs to develop a little more vigor. The palate is tart on the entry, nicely balanced with supple red cherry and raspberry fruit with a saline towards the finish. Enjoy this over the next 4-5 years.
