Tasting notes
The 2015 Sérilhan has an attractive minty bouquet containing plenty of energy, hints of sandalwood infusing the red fruit, touches of brown spice too. This is quite mercurial in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a fleshy opening. Texturally this is very satisfying, quite plush and smooth with a judicious sprinkling of dark chocolate that lingers on the aftertaste. This is a 2015 that is drinking perfectly now, though it should give another 12-15 years of drinking pleasure.

Another little gem in the vintage (and this vintage is packed with value-priced gems), the 2015 Château Sérilhan offers lots of baked cherries, raspberries and leather notes, medium body, fine tannin, and nicely integrated acidity. It’s already delicious yet should keep for 10-15 years.
Pleasantly rustic and intense, the 2015 Serilhan is a solid all-around effort. Game, licorice, smoke, plum and dark red cherry are some of the notes that are pushed forward in this ripe, somewhat eccentric Saint-Estephe. There is no shortage of personality here. The 2015 should drink well for a dozen or so years.
The 2015 Château Sérilhan has a crisp blackberry, briary, damp earth-tinged bouquet that shows a little more cohesion than other Saint Estèphe 2015s. The palate is medium-bodied with a fleshy, red berry entry, well-balanced if not showing the depth on the finish that is displayed elsewhere. Still, this is a well-crafted wine that should give 15-20 years of pleasure.
