Tasting notes
I am pleasantly surprised to find the 2015 Fugue de Nénin in such great shape. Juicy and inviting, with no hard edges and terrific presence, the Fuque de Nénin is everything a second wine should be. Drink this forward Pomerol over the next handful of years, while the red berry fruit retains its youthful freshness.

The 2015 Fugue De Nenin (90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc) is a juicy, fresh, fruity Pomerol with elegant cherries, dried earth, toasted spice and licorice aromas and flavors. I love its balanced, elegant style and it should keep nicely for a decade.
90% Merlot. And 4% press wine included. Mid crimson. Quite a lively nose that jumps out of the glass. Smooth, though only just enough freshness. Ripe but not super-sweet. Rather astringent tannins on the end. (JR)
The 2015 Fugue de Nenin is a lovely second wine. Sweet floral notes, raspberry and strawberry are pushed forward in an attractive, gracious wine that shows the more delicate, feminine side of Pomerol. It should drink nicely upon release.
