Plush, dense and inviting, with no hard edges and fine balance, the 2015 Clos Floridène is a winner from the Dubourdieu family. Super-ripe fruit and a dash of new oak, along with a good bit of raciness, give the 2015 its exuberant personality. This is an absolutely gorgeous wine, especially for the money.

Racy and smoky and sleek. Very appetising, with the oak well hidden. Much better than some dry whites from Pessac-Léognan. Sophisticated. Attractive stoniness on the end – a tribute to Sancerre? (JR)
Denis and Florence Dubourdieu's 2015 Clos Floridène offers notable depth and plenty of nuance, especially in its class. Savory herbs, sweet tobacco, leather and mint wrap around the plump, open-knit finish in a super-appealing, budget-friendly Graves that should drink well for at least a handful of years.
The 2015 Clos Floridene offers up luscious redcurrant, wild strawberry and floral scents on the nose, almost Burgundy-like in terms of purity. The palate is well balanced with fine but firm tannin, a little pinched at the moment, but by the time of bottling it will have undone its top-shirt button. Plenty of energy here, a Graves with a nod to Volnay, bound to offer 8-10 years of pleasure.
