The 2015 Citran is medium garnet-purple in color with savory notes of chargrill and sautéed herbs over warm plums and blackberries notions. Medium-bodied with firm, chewy tannins, it's a little tart in the mouth with a grippy finish.

Notes of strawberries, raspberries, toasted spice and hints of scorched earth all emerge from the 2015 Château Citran, and it's another 2015 Haut-Médoc that offers tons of charm. Medium-bodied, supple and polished, with fine tannin, drink it over the coming decade.

Another very perfumed wine with lots of aromatic charm already. Mouth-filling with a pencil-shavings streak through it. Sappy and appetising though no fruit bomb. (JR)
