Tasting notes
The 2015 Cantegril offers good depth and persistence in its candied lemon peel, pineapple and floral notes, but is marred by unfocused aromatics. With a little more attention to detail, this could be a meaningfully better wine.

Big and broad. Not very subtle but with nice pear-juice undertow. Then some green acidity. Probably won't be a long laster but may well give lots of pleasure. (JR)
A bright, floral-edged style, with honeysuckle and heather notes up front, followed by tasty pineapple, peach and apricot flavors. Shows good energy overall. Mar 2016, James Molesworth, www.WineSpectator.com
Intense grilled pineapple, crystallised ginger and fresh citrus aromas. Rich, dense and tactile flavours of mango and papaya, with orange marmalade nuances. Lovely wine. Same soil as Doisy-Daëne, but a little lower in altitude and in refinement. Is this the best Cantegril ever? Apr 2016, Ian D'Agata, www.Decanter.com, Drink: 2018-2022
